Tay Tuan Kiat

Chief Executive, Asia

Tay began his career with Reuters plc where he held roles in sales, marketing and business development over a ten-year period. Thereafter, he was involved in running two start-ups in Singapore invested by the 3i Asia Pacific Technology Fund. Tay has worked extensively throughout Asia Pacific region, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
 

Prior to joining Media Monitors, Tay was General Manager, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan for Reed Elsevier’s LexisNexis, where he transformed a traditional print publisher into an industry leading brand serving a broad-based clientele.

He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
 

Leon Hudson

General Manager, South East Asia

Leon is responsible for leading Media Monitors' operations in South East Asia, working closely with a portfolio of multinational corporate and government clients who seek to make sense of an increasingly fragmented media landscape. 

In his career to date, Leon has been heavily involved in developing and leading a sales-, service- and support-based culture that is focused on the principles of client centricity. Leon has a passion for media and brings 13 years of industry experience to the role and significant international expertise having worked in Asia, Europe and New Zealand.

He began his media career in London, working at an independent sports publisher and later on at an award winning contract publisher. From there he took up a business development role with a leading UK media planning, monitoring and evaluation agency. In 2004 he moved to New Zealand to work for a leading media intelligence provider where he progressed to the role of general manager. 

Leon holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Politics from the University of Plymouth. Leon is also known to have guest lectured on media-related topics at several academic institutions during his stint in New Zealand.

Poh Lin, Lim

Marketing & Communications Manager, South East Asia & Hong Kong

Poh Lin is responsible for managing and implementing marketing and communications initiatives integral to driving results for the Media Monitors group across Asia Pacific.

Over a seven year period she has held management roles at market leading companies in portfolios spanning public relations, marketing and corporate communications, branding, corporate and social responsibility, advertising and promotions, crisis management and event management.

She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). She is also a Certified Sales Specialist (C|ESS) accorded by EC-Council (International Council for E-Commerce Consultants).
 

Chuah Soo Geng

Finance Manager, South East Asia

Chuah Soo Geng is responsible for all finance and accounting of the South East Asian offices. 

 
He started his career as an auditor with one of the Big 4 public accounting firms. Prior to joining the Media Monitors group of companies, he held various roles in the manufacturing, sales & distribution and payroll outsourcing industries. 

 
Soo Geng is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
 

Sharmila Devi Kunasekaran

HR Manager, South East Asia

Sharmila has more than 10 years experience in human resources. She has worked with companies in the consulting and services sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Malaya and a Certificate of Personnel Management from Malaysian Institute of Personnel Management.

 
As the Human Resources Manager, she works closely with the business leaders and Corporate HR to support the growth of South East Asia operations, implement and drive Media Monitors HR practices in the region in accordance with the business strategy and local needs.

Sumita Ranjini Devadas

Operations Manager, South East Asia

Sumita is responsible for the overall Operations of the Press, Broadcast and Information Management teams in South East Asia. The Operations team works 24/7/365 to ensure that timely and accurate content is delivered to our clients.

She has 13 years of experience in various aspects of Operations including Customer Service, Account and People Management. Prior to Asia Media Monitors, Sumita has held positions in the IT and Academic certification industry.

Sumita has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Glamorgan, Wales and holds a Certificate in Legal Practice. 

Kunalan Ramasamy

Senior Sales & Client Services Manager, Malaysia

Kunalan has had a passion for sales and marketing for as long as he can remember and has worked within the industry for over 10 years. He has varied sales and key account management experience having worked for a variety of professional services firms.

Kunalan has been with Media Monitors since January 2008 and was promoted to the position of Senior Sales and Client Services Manager, Malaysia, in March 2010. He is an energetic and client focussed leader with a knack for developing long-term client relationships.

Kunalan manages the Malaysian sales and account management team and is based in KL. He sits on the regional management team and works tirelessly to ensure that our business continues to provide competitive media intelligence solutions.
